Traumatic experiences under Trivia
Whenever I read a traumatic life experience under the Trivia category, I feel it is insensitive to the Actor and those involved. A suicide or death of a family member is not trivial. It could go under Biography, but sometimes that doesn't seem appropriate either. Any thoughts from community members about this and a possible resolution?

Words can have multiple meanings. "Trivia" is no exception. Merriam-Webster gives two definitions, the first being "unimportant matters : trivial facts or details" (which is the definition you are thinking of) and the second being "facts (as about people or events) that are not well-known". IMDb's "trivia" page uses the second definition. It is not in any way intending to imply that the information is unimportant or insignificant. It merely means that the page contains information about a movie that might be of interest to the viewer (but that is not directly revealed within the film itself).
