Top Contributor Leaderboard - April 2026

Top Contributor Leaderboard - April 2026

Hi IMDb Contributors!

The April 2026 Top Contributors Leaderboard is now live!

You can check out the rankings here: https://www.imdb.com/contribute/leaderboard/2026/4/

As always, anyone who contributed more than 100 items last month will see their total and ranking at the top of the leaderboard - even if they didn’t make the top 1000.  Clicking on any contributor’s name will show their historical rankings, going all the way back five years ago to March 2021 when we began posting these updates on the IMDb Community.

We appreciate all your contributions made in April and congratulations to everyone who placed!

As always, anyone who contributed more than 100 items last month will see their total and ranking at the top of the leaderboard - even if they didn’t make the top 1000.

As said in October 2025 (https://community-imdb.sprinklr.com/conversations/data-issues-policy-discussions/top-contributor-leaderboard-september-2025/68dff77f8f11a15bc219fd03), this isn't true. The top 1000 is shown (which I consider more than enough, don't get me wrong), even though there are people outside of the top 1000 with more than 100 items (the current number 100 has 380 items). So this text is (still) up for a tweak.

That being said, with the recent number of contributions Col puts in, there won't be anything left to contribute for any of us, so the above will become moot. :)

@Marco

Don't you think people outside of the top 1000 with more than 100 items will see their username and stats in the welcome text at the top? That seems to be the intention. It is hard for you or me to confirm when we are not among those people.

@Peter_pbn Good point. If that's the case, the text doesn't need changing.

@Peter_pbn The message is there for anyone with 100+ items:

Welcome <name>, you ranked #<rank> with <items> approved items in <month>. Thank you for your contribution to IMDb!

There’s a differently worded message if you have < 100 items:

Welcome <name>, you contributed < 100 items in <month> which is unfortunately below our threshold to appear on this leaderboard. To learn more about contributing visit our contribution site

Hope this helps.

What counts as an item? If you tag muliple people in a photo in one go does that count as one or 5 if you tag 5 people in that photo? Or do you have to add them one by one to count for the purposes of the leaderboard.

@matrix11001 This counts as 5 items; there is no counting advantage to splitting an update across multiple separate submissions.

Thanks - I used to do individual entries just in case. However, I shifted to just adding multiple enntries in one submission, so I'm glad that I will get credited for this.
