Top 250 Indian movies needs to be changed .Why Amar Prem Amardeep PremKahani Redrose Ittefaq Rajput Bawarchi AapkiKasam not in top 100
Imdb top 250 Indian movie list is highly inaccurate as they have considered more of post 2000 periid's movies.The list should have had atleast 15 Rajesh Khanna movies , 5 MGR films, 10 of Sivaji, 4 of Mohanlal, 5 each of Kamal Haasan, Mammootty, Sanjeev Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Jayalalithaa, Kishore Kumar, Ashok Kumar.It should not contain more than 3 films of each of the 3 Khans or Hrithik.
Amar Prem, Amardeep, Prem Kahani, Ittefaq, Kudrat, Aap Ki Kasam, Redrose, Bawarchi, Hum Dono, Aradhana , Avtaar all of these with Rajesh Khanna need to be in top 100 in order for sure.
Parashakti, Gnana Oli, Galatta Kalyanam, Deiva Magan, Bale Pandia, Karnan, Veerapandiya Kattabomman, Sivandamann , Pudhiya Paravai of Sivaji needs to be in top 50.
Kamal Hasan films like Anbe Sivam, Micheal Madana Kamarajan, Sadma , Indiran Chandiran, Hey Ram , Nayakan need to be in Top 100.
Anbe Vaa, Deiva Thai, Adimai Penn, Ayirathil Oruvan, Mattukara Velan of MGR need to be in top 100.
Thirumangalyam, Suryagandhi, Chandrodhyam and Venniradai of Jayalalitha need to b in top 150.
Mera Naam Joker of Raj Kapoor should come.

- The list is ranked by a formula which includes the number of ratings each movie received from users, and value of ratings received from regular users
- To be included on the list, a movie must receive ratings from at least 25000 users
Old Bollywood movies are not that famous outside of India, thus that movies doesn't have high ratings. (ratings is done by users.) That's the answer for your question.1
