"Title is not currently in the database" When adding Award - though it IS there

Hello,

I need to add awards and nominations for the title AMERICA

When adding all information including proofs via the Event page, I get the following message:

"The title 'America' is not currently in the database."

It then gives me a number of similar titles to choose from, but mine isn't there.

I must add this information to the website. Please advice!

Ofir: When a film has a common title like America, you have to provide the title more specifically in order to add it to an awards page.

If your film is America (2022) at https://www.imdb.com/title/tt12252488/ for example (as I expect it is), you can either submit it with the exactly formatted IMDb title:

America (2022)

or with the title constant from the URL for its page:

tt12252488

If you enter the title constant and then click "Re-check these updates", you will find that the title is corrected to be in exact IMDb format. Either of these will work, especially for a film whose official IMDb formatted title is simple like this one, but for a more complicated title I would recommend entering the title constant.

Good luck!
