Title Denial

Hello, I have a question regarding my recent new title submission. I have tried two times to submit my title and they are saying that it was been denied because of supporting data. I have included the Facebook link to the official Facebook movie site which includes all the action still frames, etc. I don't know how much more supporting evidence they need? Unless they need the movie itself. The movie currently is being cut in post-production. I have been a member of IMDb for over 14 years and have made 8 feature films. This is currently my 9th feature I am trying to include. Thanks for your time. The film I am trying to submit is entitled "Christmas Night Evil Night."

Britton: Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database.

Hi @bstebbins02,

Thank you for your report.

Please refer to our help guide which details the suitable evidence we require to approve your new title submission. This evidence should be included in the Provide explanation field once that box is ticked in the Contribution Form.

I hope this helps!

@Ozzy Well a little. You are referring me to a checklist of multiple ways you can prove your title exists. One of the ways that is checked is production stills. The Facebook website that I included in my title submission has numerous production action stills. Is that enough, or do I need an actual trailer? Or if that is not enough, do I need the actual feature movie posted somewhere on the internet? This was my original question, however it never got answered thoroughly. You are just referring me to a checklist of numerous ways that you can prove that your title exists. In the past when I submitted my project usually production stills on either the Facebook movie page or movie website would suffice. The movie is currently in post-production.

Thanks, Britton

Hi @bstebbins02,

You do not need to provide a link to the full title posted online. However, Facebook or other social media sites are not suitable forms of evidence for eligibility, as mentioned in the help guide. If you have production stills listed on a dedicated site for the title or any of the other noted suitable forms of evidence, please re-submit your title addition and remember to add these links to the first Provide explanation field for our processing teams to review.

Thanks!
