Thomas Bangalter and The Saint (1997)?

The bio of Thomas Bangalter ("half of" Daft Punk, as it were) mentions him being known also for "The Saint" (1997): https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0051939/bio/#mini_bio However, on the Full Cast and Crew page of The Saint, I can't find any mention of him: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120053/fullcredits/ Does this refer purely to Daft Punk's "Da Funk" used in "The Saint", or is there more of a connection? Does anyone know?
