This is a complaint against IMDb

First of all, I don't see why ANYONE would pay for IMDb anymore!  I used to have a Pro account but currently have a free subscription.  I am an actor so I have a regular account page and an actor page.  Many many years ago I also posted to my actor page my web series I created and all the info(so hence also being a producer/director/writer).  Over the years I haven't checked my actor page much.  I checked it last night and also noticed that over the years IMDb created a Title Page for my web series.  Because I don't remember ever creating one.  Anyway, I was double-checking all the info on it, and someone added an episode on there that was his own work!  I never gave authorization.  After writing IMdb support and getting an email back, they say Title Pages can't be claimed and that ANYONE can update them/edit them.  WTH!?!?!?  Someone that didn't even create the episode in my web series can upload his own work and put it under my web series Title Page?  I can't even go in and deleted it now.  I tried to go in and EDIT it and there is no DELETE option!  That is like saying Steven Spielberg's movie Title Pages anyone can go in and change up his info.  THIS DOESN'T MAKE ANY FRIGGIN SENSE AT ALL!!!!!   WHY WOULD ANYONE PAY IMDb anymore?  I thought this was a professional site.

Well, a submission can be made that merges the IMDb title page for an episode into the IMDb title page for another, thus reducing the episode count as they appear listed on IMDb. Otherwise, a direct deletion would have to be commenced by the IMDb data editors, who would need to be informed of the URL of the problematic IMDb title page that was never supposed to have been created in the first place.

@jeorj_euler I don't want to merge the unauthorized episode with my web series Title Page.  And I don't want the whole Title Page to be deleted either.  As I said, IMDb must have created it within the past few years.  I like the title page, I don't think someone else's work should be included with mine when it has nothing to do with my web series.   It just doesn't make any sense.  This used to be a professional site.  SHEESH!

Ah, in that case, the action to take would be to submit a correction to the "Episode Title / Number" data (under "Other Corrections" section in the submission form for the IMDb title page for the misplaced episode), whereby text in "Series" field would be replaced by the text in the "Episode Title" field, whereas the text in the "Episode Title" field along with the text in the "Number" field would both then be cut out so as to be left blank.

Ok I thank you so very much for telling me how to submit that.  You are a wealth of info!  I still don’t think that IMDb should be running the Title Pages like that.  Does that mean that anyone could mess with a super professional director/producer movie title page and mess up their info too?  JUST NOT RIGHT!

Well, certain types of information on IMDb are crowd-sourced (almost like Wikipedia), and even though items submitted for addition, correction or deletion won't be realized on the site until approved by IMDb data editors, sometimes errors are made or, worse yet, misguided/malicious edits slip through. This has been the case for decades, so IMDb is not really any more or less professional than ever before, apart from those rare periods of time whereby total nonsense/disorder is manifested in the database.
