The Whale rating?

Is there a reason the film The Whale  has no rating? Or the rating is hidden? The film has been released long ago....

Capamaroux: The Whale has only played at film festivals so far. It won't go on general release until December 9, 2022.

The film appears to be open for rating on IMDb, which is what I would expect since it has been shown at film festivals. However, it appears that the film has received fewer than 5 ratings yet. A title needs to have been rated by at least 5 people to have its rating display on IMDb.

The film has been shown in dozens of festivals and it already has 15 reviews in Imdb. So, I think the film should have several hundreds of ratings.

Capamaroux: Yes, you are correct. Just with the ratings attached to the 15 user reviews that has been posted, I agree that there should be more than enough to generate an average rating. So I don't know what the situation really is.

I remember when movie had more than 1000 ratings (after screening at Venice Film Festival).

The film has only been screened at festivals so far.

Votes/reviews on the film are enabled due to those early screenings, but the aggregate rating will be shown at the time of the film's theatrical release (Dec. 9th).
