The USA release date is completely incorrect for Kimba The White Lion and I am unable to edit the release date for the USA.

The release date for the USA dub of the show is incorrect and I am unable to edit anything other than the Japanese release date and the West Germany release date. For reasons unknown to myself, April 3rd, 1981 is listed as the release date when September 11th, 1966 is the actual release year for USA.

Also, the trailer for the 1980s/90s series is incorrectly used.

The USA date comes from the first episode, where you can edit the date:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3613920/releaseinfo

You may need another source than  Wikipedia. I see that the Hollywood Reporter mentions the 1966 date:

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/movies/movie-news/lion-king-kimba-white-lion-does-disney-need-come-clean-1225822/

Sometimes there may be confusion because episodes aired in a different order in different countries. I don't know if that's the case here.

@Peter_pbn Well, thanks for telling me, I know I am correct with the dates. The sequel series was the one that was produced in the 60s and aired in the 80s. The series even stopped airing in 1978.

Also, is there any way to remove that incorrect trailer I mentioned?

Hi WeegeeCool-

After reviewing the information, it seems that the US release date for "Kimba the White Lion" (1965-1967) has already been corrected to September 11th, 1966 and the changes are live on the site.

As per the incorrect trailer you have mentioned, I encourage you to post the title page link or video/trailer link from IMDb so that our staff can investigate further.

Cheers!
