The unwanted and inappropriate attribute of "as himself"

I very much want to remove an unwanted and inappropriate attribute attached to two of my film credits.  The attribute that follows my actual character's name is "as himself."  I really hate that attribute because, regardless of how it got there (I didn't add that attribute), it makes it sound like I was playing myself in the film.  But I did not play myself in either of those films.  Will you please advise me on how to remove that unfortunate and unwanted attribute?
