In Progress

The Munsters dates

The Munsters as a TV show ran from 1964 to 1966. Apparently in 2004 they released an unaired pilot that was made back in 1964 and used to pitch the show to the networks. The problem is that now, for the original cast, this show doesn't show up in its proper place, in the 1960s, but shows up as a 2004 entry.   How can this be changed so the TV show is listed chronologically in the right place? Example: Fred Gwynne's list of roles: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0001304/ On the page for the show itself, The Munsters is listed as 1964-1966, but for the actors, it's listed as 1964-2004, which is totally inaccurate.

Hi spfitzinger - Thanks for calling out this credit display.  The reason why Fred Gwynne's series credits on "The Munsters" is displayed at the top of his filmography is because the previously unaired pilot episode was recently listed on the site, since this episode is part of the series and was released in 2004, since Fred Gwynne was credited on the episode this is why these series credits are listed at the top, as this is the most recent credit. With that being said, I understand that the display can be misleading if the logic is unknown. I have forwarded this example for visibility and future improvements to the applicable team to review our filmography display logic in these rare instances. Thanks again!

Hi spfitzinger- Apologies for the delayed reply and an updated information on this issue. We are working through a backlog of threads. This issue has been resolved and the credits display are listed for 1964-1966 for the cast on this TV Series.  Cheers!
