The director MIIKE Takashi made 2 films with similar names:  In 20025, he made "The Great Yōkai War," and in 2021, he made "The Great Yōkai War: Guardians."

The poster and the cast for the 2005 look to be correct, but the trailer isn't:  the same trailer is shown on the entry for the 2021 film.
