The Godfather Part III (Wrong Poster and Description)
The current poster of The Godfather: Part III represents the re-release of The Godfather Coda: The Death of Michael Corleone and same for the description. Another thing is that the description doesn't respect the 5th general rule
- Don't include the title's name at the start of the outline ('Star Wars' is about)

I’m not fully sure at the moment, but I believe ”Coda” is the definitive version when it comes to Coppola himself. But obviously it is not (and never will be) the ”original” version of Godfather III. Not sure which one IMDb prefers.

My point was that usually the same also applies to ”feature film vs mini-series” dilemma. IMDb doesn’t really have a rule which says that a separate mini-series is added to IMDb individually. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not (hence, a gray area). There are previous discussions about this.
Perhaps IMDb should be more clear in their guide (for example): ”We will accept a separate mini-series to be added as a new title, but all the other versions (Dir.cut/Unrated/Extended/etc) go to Alternate version section.”

Hi all - we're currently making the decision internally as to whether this poster should be returned to a classic poster, and I'll make the change personally and update you all when I can.
On the subject of whether this is it's own standalone title or an alternative version it's best to make this decision when the new cut is released, as we don't know how different it is. The actual format/title type doesn't matter on this front, as you can see here with the TV version of Dune being listed as an alternate:
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0087182/alternateversions
We know the policy on alternate versions could be clearer and we are looking to clarify further in the future. As I'm sure you understand creating/updating policy for us is not a simple process so I can't really give any guarantees or timescales for when this will be done.
