"The Gathering" release date

The Help page for release dates says: "The release date section records when a title was released to the public in a particular country." The Gathering (2002) currently has the release date "May 17, 2002" with attribute "Cannes Film Festival Marché du Film". But the Cannes "Marché du Film" (= film market) is for the film industry professionals, not for the public. Thus this date should not be eligible for the release date section.
