taglines

I'm a researcher looking at taglines listed on IMDb for historic films, and am finding some fascinating ones that I can't find anywhere on the images of movie posters on IMDb or elsewhere online. Are the listings on IMDb reliable? How are they vetted, does anyone know?

You probably need to give some examples. Movies are made everywhere in the world, especially ”history” related. Of course it’s good to keep in mind that ”taglines” are mainly for promotional purposes. Some are also very over-the-top. Plot Outlines probably gives a bit better overview of the film than taglines.

Thank you @eboy. I'm looking specifically at the taglines for the 1953 film "Magia verde"--they are wild, and I'm just wondering if I can assume that they are accurately reported in the IMDb website. I don't know how critically the contributions are vetted.

could not find one with these exact words but this is close enough, so I would assume one with that exact wording also exists somewhere:
