There are three types of plot descriptions found on IMDb title pages: the outline, the summary and the synopsis. The longest of these is the synopsis, which is supposed to summarize the entire plot in detail, including any major spoilers. If you don't wish to see spoilers, you should avoid reading the synopsis.
If, on the other hand, you meant to ask what to do if you find a major spoiler in either the outline or the summary, you have the option of trying to rewrite and submit your own version by clicking the "edit" button next to the heading "Storyline" and choosing "Correct / Delete" for whichever plot description you are trying to edit.
Please remember if you are going to start writing plot outlines to keep them short & sweet. IMDb's plot outlines essentially serve the same purpose as what screenwriters refer to as "loglines", so searching online for tips on how to write a good logline will probably yield good advice that you can apply to writing IMDb plot outlines.
