Synopsis Posting for Compilation Video

I created a synopsis for a compilation video, "Sheri's Gotta Have It".  However, the video lacks continuity because of the way it was assembled.  This made it impossible to create a coherent synopsis of the video without referring to other sources.  I removed the other sources from the synopsis, but it was still denied.  To me, this meant that the moderation was probably being done by an AI engine.  As a test, I did an update to the contribution and repeatedly put a sentence in that stated the compilation video problem.  After I submitted the update, it was approved and published to IMDb.  This proves to me that their was no living being at the other end doing the review of the contribution.

Hi DavidG_115-

In order for our staff to further review, can you post both of the 18-digit submission reference numbers for these sypnosis contributions?

Cheers!

Maya,

The 18-digit submission reference numbers that you requested are:

Number                                         Description

260530-204357-068000                Original synopsis submission with external references

to other IMDb videos.  IAFD scene information was

                                                      also used.  It was Declined.

260601-214332-011000                Revised synopsis with external references taken out.

                                                      It was Declined.

I do rigidly stick to the content in the video when I write a synopsis.  Since these are adult videos to start with, this may include explicit descriptions, but the descriptions only include what is seen or heard in the video.  The instructions for creating a synopsis on IMDb tell the writer to give specific descriptions of the plot.  I do this also to make the plot development clear, and I am not doing it to make it explicit.  My approach is to follow the video images and audio exactly, to add enough detail.  I try not to add something that is outside the scope of the plot development.  For the "Sheri's Gotta Have It" video, it is a compilation video.  One rule forbids the inclusion of content that is external to the video.  I ran into a big problem with this when I started writing the description for Scene 6.  In that scene, an enema session that the character Elizabeth has is shown.  However, there is no plot explanation for this.  Now, this scene is taken from the video, "Cherry Busters".  In that IMDb-listed video, there is a house party, and the attendees draw from cards that specify sex acts.  Elizabeth draws a penalty card that forces her into a scene, after her enema, where she has to do double penetration.  However, none of this is included in the compilation video that I am trying to do the synopsis for.  Therefore, when Buck Adams (the character Joseph) asks her about the penalty in the double penetration scene in the compilation video, that part of the scene does not make sense.  I decided at that point that the compilation video was a convoluted mess, and I needed to add something to fix it.  My fix got rejected by the moderators, though.

@DavidG_115 - Thank you for posting the references! For the submission that got incorrectly approved, it has been taken down and we have escalated the error to the appropriate team for visibility.

As per your rejected submissions, further reviewing, it is describing more of the actions of the scenes as opposed to describing the plot. So it needs to be more plot and less 'graphic language.'

You can see some plot examples on these titles: title 1 and title 2.

You are welcome to make the corrections on it and then re-submit it for review.

Maya,

I have edited my synopsis for "Sheri's Gotta Have It" to remove the graphic language.  Although the previous versions only exactly re-iterated words from the actors and added nothing, the script's content was considered too graphic.  Words spoken by the actors that pertain to graphic descriptions have been removed or replaced with approved keywords.

Can you post the 18-digits submission reference number? to take a look at the most recent submission.

Fran,

The 18-digits submission reference number for my most recent synopsis submission for "Sheri's Gotta Have It" is:

260606-023809-533000

As I noted before, this is a rather convoluted compilation video.  I was looking at the character words from the character Claudine (played by Linda Shaw) in Scene 8, though.  This was taken from the video "Young and Restless 1".  The phrasing is the most explicit of the video.  However, Scene 9 from "Young and Restless 2" also has the character "Girl on Stairs" (Nicole West) getting pretty explicit.  I have done synopses for a number of adult videos, and the character words in this one rank among the most explicit.  In my revised version of "Sheri's Gotta Have It", I tried to remove the explicit script words.

Fran,

Okay, I'm confused.  I just checked the status of my re-submission for the synopsis of "Sheri's Gotta Have It" (reference number 260606-023809-533000), and the status says:

Declined

Reason: Duplicate

Your contribution has been declined.

The item you have submitted is exactly the same as a submission that you or another user have already entered, which is still pending review by our staff.

Please remember that all updates submitted to IMDb are not immediately available online but must first be checked and processed by our data editors. The time it takes us to do this can vary, please see this guide for more information. If you have already submitted this item previously, please use the Track Contribution option on that submission reference instead.

I did not do a duplicate submission of the latest version.  Do I need to start a new submission for this?  Please advise.

@DavidG_115 - Thank you for posting the reference! There was an error and this is not a duplicate, however, please know that the plot sypnosis still has less plot and continuous graphic language.

You will need to correct this and re-submitted.

Maya,

"Sheri's Gotta Have It" is a very graphic video with very little plot.  There is little plot because it is just a mish mash of scenes from other videos.  Descriptions have been limited to approved keywords.  I can't improve on the plot any, and I have removed about as much graphic language as I can.
