Suspicious user reviews - Anora

I've been reading the user reviews for the movie Anora (2024) and I noticed that the titles of three *consecutive* reviews, made by different users, are quite similar:

(user felewi-9) "Anora is a sharp, emotionally volatile film that balances raw realism with dark humor, creating a portrait of desire, power, and survival in modern America"

(user cikin-8) "Anora is a bold, emotionally charged drama that blends romance, chaos, and social commentary into a story that feels both alive and unsettling."

(user metimer) "Anora is a raw, sharply observed drama that blends romance, class tension, and social satire into a story that feels both chaotic and painfully human"

As I've said, when ordering by review date these three entries are consecutive (written on January 24 / 26) and the titles use the same words shuffled around a bit. The text of the reviews themselves seem AI slop.

Hello Riz_5

You can report any review breaching our policies. You can find help and instructions in our Help Articles.

Our voting system already detects and defeats attempts to stuff the ballot and skew the rating, as demonstrated by the difference between the weighted average and the arithmetic mean on the vast majority of titles in the database.

For additional information about IMDb ratings and weighted averages, please refer to our FAQ here: https://help.imdb.com/article/imdb/track-movies-tv/ratings-faq/G67Y87TFYYP6TWAV

Hello Fran,

I'm talking about user reviews, not user ratings, so I'm not sure why you're mentioning weighted averages and arithmetic means - these don't apply to reviews.

Also the reporting system applies only to single reviews, and every one of the three reviews I mentioned - when separated from the other two - looks perfectly fine.

It's only when grouped that these three (consecutive) reviews raise a red flag.

Hello Fran,

let me put it this way - I suspect that the three accounts felewi-9, cikin-8 and metimer have been created and are being managed by the same person.

@ACT_1 helpfully pointed out that these accounts have all been created on June 2025.

Reporting the three reviews that I mentioned will fix the Anora review problem, but will _not_ fix any other triplet of fake reviews that the felewi+cikin+metimer user will post on other movie titles.

So, to summarize: I'd like to report these three _user accounts_ as fake, or hacked. Does this breach a specific IMDB policy?
