Submit New Title Assistant (Beta)

Over the next few weeks, we will be trialing a beta feature designed to streamline adding a title to IMDb. This tool guides you through submitting new titles with a conversational approach. This beta feature will be available to a subset of users on the existing New Title contribution form. The New Title Assistant is currently optional and in testing. For the most comprehensive experience, you can always use the standard contribution form.Your feedback is important to us - we encourage you to share your thoughts and feedback in this thread.- The IMDb Team

I tested a bit, adding a TV show.
The genre dropdown box didn't include all the existing genres. I had to select a genre to continue. Some items appear to be mandatory in the chat even though they are not mandatory in the form.
I was asked for a release year twice, but not date or month. I also selected the release type. When returning to the form at the end of the chat, the release type was not filled in and I had to select it again. Also, the top of the form was red because I had to select "on-going" or add an end year. If I was a newbie I would probably be confused.

@Col_Needham Gave up using this new form, as @Peter_pbn writes, Genres are missing, I am trying to add a TV series with Genre "News", that is not on the drop-down in the form so I could not then get any further.
I am on Windows 11 - Firefox Browser
PS: HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thanks for testing this feature Peter_pbn and kristin!
The team are working on updates based on your feedback. All existing genres should be included by end of day, and we've made a change to auto-complete release date year based on the title year.
Please let us know if you experience other issues or have further suggestions as to how we can improve this feature.
Many thanks, and a Happy New Year,
Mark
