Submission Format Programming Idea

I had a submission declined because I accidentally left out the 'L' in link so that it read [ink].

Is it possible to put in the programming that the [link] word needs to be properly formatted before it can be submitted? 

If [link] is the only error in the submission, which mine was, and it can be caught by the programming before being submitted, it avoids a submission that will only be declined three days later due to a typo that should have been caught by the programming to begin with.

I've had warnings that tell me a word is spelled wrong and it has to be acknowledged before it can be submitted; I've also had warnings come up if the nm or tt doesn't match the proper formatting; so it makes me wonder why there is no programming to stop submissions when a letter in the [link] word is missing.
