Strange year period for the TV Series "Police Story"
I accidentally discover the strange thing. The TV Series "Police Story"

The year period is 1973-1987. But the last episode was released at 1980. Looks like a mistake

Sss: This is a policy interpretation question. On May 3, 1987, NBC did broadcast a TV movie titled "Police Story: The Freeway Killings" (https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093757/) which was associated with the TV series. But that was seven years after the most recent prior "Police Story" TV movie in 1980, so I would prefer not to call the 1987 TV movie an episode.
I presume the discrepancy stems from the 1987 TV movie being characterized, and then not being characterized, as an episode of the series, with the year range not updating immediately.
