Star Trek The Original Series Theme music credit

Unfortunately, it was attached to a reply that was deleted by the author of the reply.

And that deletion removed content provided by other people as well.

Some sprinklr features have questionable results.

I think I can re-construct some of what was said / decided from the email notifications I was receiving, though it doesn't seem to be complete.

My summary is:

Most of the discussion seemed to centre on how to credit Loulie Jean Norman, it seemed to settle on including it as a trivia item.

As for my original question, Theme Music soundtrack listing should only go to Alexander Courage as he is the only one listed in the credits. That seemed to match the standards for Soundtrack listings -- only what is in the movie/TV show credits, nothing more.

I feel like there was a little more regarding Ms. Norman but I can't find it in my emails.

Does that sound right?

But specific links to justify a credit for Ms. Norman as performer on the Star Trek theme are gone. Hopefully that credit is still being pursued, at least at the series level.

She already has a trivia item about it.

I see Ms. Norman still has 79 listed.

Do you need help with the labor of it?

Or are you hoping an IMDb staffer will come along and wipe them without contributions?

I was waiting to see how the discussion panned out in case it affected the Theme music credits. I was hoping that IMDb had some sort of bulk update feature, but as it doesn't I can make those changes, probably in the next day or two.

Update, that submission has been declined with the far-too-common (to me) "Unable to verify". One wonders where they were able to verify the change to add the extraneous credit in the first place.

@bderoes My goal was to credit the theme song as it is credited in the show, which is the policy for Soundtrack listing. So remove the singer and the Hollow Triumph annotation, leaving just Alexander Courage.

And now that I've re-read that section, I see that episode level soundtrack listings for things like the Theme should be removed, so I might try to do that instead.
