Star rating absent from review

I posted a review for a movie called Amundsen almost a week ago:

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6054846/reviews?ref_=tt_urv

I gave the move a rating of 9/10, but this star rating did not show up when I posted the review, or when I edited the review. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Btw, I have noiced that star ratings almost always turn up when people post reviews, even if their ratings are not public.

Hi, Interlepos. When was your rating submitted? Maybe it has not yet gone live.

This is because your ratings are not public -> https://www.imdb.com/user/ur2315011/

If you have an example of another customer whose ratings are displayed on their reviews yet whose ratings are private, please let us know and we can look into that bug.  However, as far as your account is concerned, the system is functioning as designed, sorry.  If you do not wish to make all of your ratings public you can always mention your vote in the text or summary of those reviews where you are happy to show your vote instead.

Thank you for swift reply. I checked some user profiles for people who had star ratings attached to their reviews.  Some of them had no other ratings visible, but I didn't factor in the variable that maybe they only gave star ratings for reviews, and no general ratings. I have now made my ratings public and that will surely rectify the situation.

Had the same problem, but seems to be solved if you share your ratings (at least on reviews - you don't have to do it on all your rated titles), it seems to solve it.
