I keep submitting a "Special Thanks" to a movie I'm working on, I'm a producer/writer/actor and it keeps getting denied, how do I submit it without it getting denied, really annoyed!!!!!!!!

RW: Please post your last full data submission here on this message board. You can copy it out of the receipt you would have received from IMDb by e-mail immediately after sending it in. Some of the regulars on the board may review it and, if they can, they may provide suggestions as to how to improve the submission to get it included in the database. (Also, please include the submission reference number -- it's an 18-digit number that will look something like 230123-123456-789000.)

I can see that your contribution was declined because a related item was also declined. This information is available to view in your Contribution History. The related item will be the name page you are trying to credit with the Thanks credit. This was declined because we do not accept group name pages unless they have an identifiable member, such as a band or sports team. The name page you're trying to add should be considered a miscellaneous company as per our guidelines.

#231006-163732-517000 It won't allow a thanks to John Carpenter we are doing a Batman vs Michael Myers fan film (in production) and are thanking John because without him there'd be no Michael Myers, they passed the other two which are the creators of Batman? but not John I don't know how this whole thing works, but it's a little weird. - thanks in advance - R.W.
