Song composer/singer without the actual song titles?
Hi.
I came across with some old short films (mainly aimed at children, so animations etc) which also include "original songs" (at least, I assume they're). The composer/singer (in this example the person did both) of the song is credited, but not the names of the actual songs. In the old days, they didn't really gave much taught about film credits. In this case they created a short animation and wanted some simple songs that goes along with it.
Where do these credits fall in? I mean I can't really add them to the Soundtrack section, and since they're mainly "songs", they're not really "scores" or anything like that.
I guess one compromise would be to add them to the "Music Department", with the person's name and credits "composer" and "singer".
Any thoughts? Thanks.

Definitely music department. The guidelines mention that roles like "songs by" and "singer" can be used.
"composer" alone would probably be misunderstood as referring to a score.
