Someone Used My Project to Post a Fraudulent Listing

Thank you for your response. I would like to clarify the nature of my objection.

I am not disputing that the audiovisual work referenced by the page exists. My objection is to the material misrepresentation of the nature of that work on IMDb.

Tadaima is a speculative commercial created for portfolio. It is not a narrative short film.

The current IMDb listing represents Tadaima as a short film, which materially mischaracterizes the project and creates a false impression about the nature of the work and my filmography.

The fact that the audiovisual work exists does not establish that it is a narrative short film. The project was created specifically as speculative commercial work and was submitted to the Berlin Commercial Awards in the Spec Commercial category. That classification is directly relevant evidence of the actual nature of the project.

I also want to clarify that my previous objection to the IMDb listing was not based solely on copyright infringement. I objected to the unauthorized creation of the listing and, more importantly, to the inaccurate public representation of the project.

I understand IMDb’s position that it does not generally remove information it reasonably believes to be factual. However, I am specifically disputing the factual accuracy of the title’s classification and request that IMDb review the following:

• The classification of Tadaima as a narrative short film;
• The project’s actual status as a speculative commercial;
• The Berlin Commercial Awards submission identifying the work as a Spec Commercial; and
• Any associated metadata that represents the project as a narrative film rather than speculative commercial work.

I can provide documentation supporting the actual nature and purpose of the project.

I respectfully request that IMDb reconsider the current classification based on this information. If IMDb maintains that the title is eligible to remain in the database, I request that the title and associated metadata be corrected so that the project is not inaccurately represented as a narrative short film.
