Someone being ridiculous with parents content advice

This is a children's show and someone has been a bit ridiculous and made it seem like adult content.

Hi SafariPlum -

I reviewed the Parents Guide for "The Madagascar Penguins in a Christmas Caper" and didn't observe any obvious bad content, so what you previously observed has likely since been removed.

In the meantime, anytime you observe sabotage/vandalism/ inappropriate content displayed within the Parents Guide on a title page, please fix the information where possible (by editing it or removing it directly).

If you are noticing constant and repeat issues of sabotage/vandalism, please report these to our support team via our contact form.

Cheers!

This is a G rated program.

Sex and Nudity is set to red severe,  there is none unless you count animals in their natural state as nude, that still doesn't account for sex which doesn't occur in this program.

Violence and Gore is set to red severe, Mr Chew is a dog poodle doing what little dogs do. This shouldn't be set to this, if anything would count under frightening and intense scenes as moderate. So this should really be moderate because of the lady whacking the door man with her umbrella.

Profanity is set to red severe, there is no profanity in this program. Just some cleverly placed Hoover Dam and Shitake Mushrooms comments. So maybe a mild at best.

Alcohol, drugs and smoking is set to red severe, there is none of this either, only supermarket egg-nog which contains no alcohol.

Frightening and intense scenes is set to amber moderate, this is probably the only accurate information.

If any of these categories are truly severe, then they would need to lose their G rating classification set by the governing body for such things.

In the cases where there is zero content of a particular category, the votes other than the "none" ought to be expunged. The nudity matter in regards to animals is a question of whether or not genitalia can be clearly seen in the movie or show, considerably more lax than the standard for humans (and anthropomorphic animals), as viewers would be somewhat alarmed by the bare breast of a woman or the bare derrière of any human. The key thing to note is that these severity votes are rather welcome to be opinionated to a significant degree. If more people voted, then the net results would likely be skewed toward more balanced values, understandable by more viewers.

Thank you for the explanation, with that in mind there's no genitalia on show in this cartoon by either animal or human.

Hi SafariPlum -

Thanks for clarifying the "Severity" ranking abuse, I have alerted our tech team to investigate this title Parental Guide further.  As soon as I have an update on the issue I will let you know here.

Thanks again!
