Somebody is adding certifications of "G" to title pages for movies that have not been rated by the Motion Picture Association of America!
And of course, what I mean to say, strictly speaking, is that I cannot find any evidence whatsoever that the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) issued certifications for certain movies, each having an IMDb title page marked as though the particular movies is rated "G" in the United States. I'm aware thus far of two examples:
I already submitted a correction for one of them, back on the 13th of October, 2020, i.e. 201013-004010-655000. The submission was approved. Wonderful! However, some other contributor came along and re-added "USA:G" to the particular content advisory certifications listing. Why is such a thing allowed? (Certainly is it a well-known fact that MPAA ratings are copyrighted, and IMDb is supposedly committed to being accruate.) Why should anybody bother correcting certifications data if it will simply be undone? If one particular individual is responsible for this vandalism; then he or she needs to be informed of the proper way of representing official content advisory data on IMDb, and whatever other damage done by this individual ought to be uncovered and reverted.

Hey - looking in to this it is a bit more complex than it might seem. I've deleted the certificates for now and will be working on the technical issues. Closing this thread for now, but please submit a delete if you see any others.
