Since when is Ireland part of the U.K?

I had looked up the info for an actor Eoin Macken and saw his place of birth was Dublin, Ireland, UK.

Since when has Ireland been part of the UK? That needs correcting. He’s Irish not British and it’s quite an insult to a republic. As an Irish person I think it’s a disgrace. I wondered who provided the map service but I didn’t figure that out.

There isn't a map, it's just a matter of someone entering the wrong thing. I will try to correct it.

I also submitted edits for several others with similar listings; two of them have already been approved. It is slightly tricky that the form requires a URL as explanation, but I opted to use an encyclopaedia link rather than find evidence of the birth dates.

I found a similar listing for Eileen Walsh https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0909626/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_0_nm_8_q_eileen%2520walsh but my correction was rejected on the basis that it could not be verified.
