Trying to understand why Almost Paradise show has a rating of 7.5/10 yet all 20 epi are rated much higher. 1 -7.6/10 , 13-in the 8/10 and 6 in the 9/10. Seems to me that the ones who took the time to rate each epi are the ones who actually watched the show. It's too easy and fast to go into and rate rival shows low. They could go in and rate all the epi and that would be very time consuming. I can understand a small difference but this seems way off. If you take all 20 ratings and divide them by 20 you get a rating of 8.15. Has s2 not been factored in yet for the overall score? Thank you I do enjoy IMDb for info on movies and shows.

Murfette: The episode ratings are based on the ratings submitted for each particular episode. However, as I understand it, the series rating is not calculated based on the average rating for each episode. The series rating is based on the ratings submitted for the series overall.
My guess is that the people who took the time to rate the individual episodes of this series were, on average, people who liked it better than those who rated only the series in general.
