Showrunner section on tv-serie's page
I am always very interested to see who the people are behind a show I am watching. Currently, IMDB only shows me te creator, the writers and the producers. Now am I always interested in who the actual showrunner of a show is, i.e. the person in charge on day to day basis. Unfortunately I can never find out who exactly that is on IMDB. I know it is one of the people credited as creator, writer, or (executive) producer, but I never know exactly who. That is why it would be very helpful to me if there was a credit for showrunner on the show's IMDB page, and/or on the person's personal page. I hope more people would like this idea.

They are sometimes shown under Series Other crew like for Doctor Who (2005– )
When you ask to see the Full Cast & Crew, that includes:
Russell T. Davies ... showrunner (uncredited) (60 episodes, 2005-2010)
Steven Moffat ... showrunner (uncredited) (57 episodes, 2010-2014)

Thank your for replying, and indeed you are right, it does show that, both on the show's page and those of Moffat and Davies. Unfortunately, what you showed is all the page shows. So if I would want to know who was showrunner after 2014 (as the show is still airing) I once again have to resort to google, while I would like to be able to find it on IMDB. Also strange is that I found that Moffat was still showrunner until christmas 2017, which probably means that particular credit has not been updated since 2014.
But let me tell you why I came to this problem. I heard somewhere that the show Arrow would be having a new showrunner next season. I then wanted to know who, but I could not find this on IMDB, nor could I find who the current showrunners where. Now this is a show with a lot of creators, writers and producers, making it already hard to find, but when i googled it and found out who it where (Marc Guggenheim, also creator, and Wendy Mericle, credited as executive producer), it turned out their pages did not show anything about being showrunner. When I did some more research, I found the show Daredevil is a very nice example as well, as they have had a different showrunner for every season the first two seasons, and will have a new one next season as well, but this is nowhere to be found on IMDB, as those showrunners (Steven S. DeKnight, Douglas Petrie & Marco Ramirez) only had executive producer and an incidental writing credit (Strangely, the future showrunner (Erik Oleson) does indeed have one episode credited as showrunner in other cast & crew, like with the Doctor Who example). Also another nice example of it beinge inconsequential, Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez do have credits as showrunner for the show The Defenders, which followed Daredevil. Personally, I would very much like to be able to see this easily, and for every show and showrunner, which at the moment is mostly a sometimes yes and somethimes no thing it seems.
So in short, it is nice to see that sometimes the site already has these credits, and although they are hard to find, it is good that they are there. But for me personally, it would be nice if this could be possible for every show, as even your example with Doctor Who is unfortunately not up to date. Your example did definitely help me though, as I can now find the ones that IMDB does show, because I had not found the showrunners credits in the full cast & crew yet, so thank you very much for that. Oh and sorry for the long post, once I start writing I have the tendency to not know when to stop.

If you can find these things out anywhere then you can add them to the IMDb

You are of course very right, I did not think about that and may have let my frustration get the better of me. I shall try to add that information whenever I come across it.
One more question, if in the future this knowledge would be better added to the site, would it be possible to have the showrunner information on the first page you come across when coming to the site? Similar to how it shows the creator now, just below that for example. That would be useful and interesting information in my opinion. I do realise this will not happen until the showrunner information is more common, I am just wondering if you or anyone else would think this is a good idea as well? It would be much clearer in my opinion.

I had never heard the term "Showrunner" until they started using it on Doctor Who (I'm in the UK)

I believe it’s just best to stick with the actual credits in IMDb.
