Showing the years an actor was active on a TV-show is dropping some huge spoilers.

I've recently had some huge spoilers been dropped on me while just skipping through IMDb's actor profiles, as with the recent update which now shows the date an actor has worked on a show. As shown in the image, viewing some profiles is a huge spoiler as it shows when the character is gone from the show. This goes for almost all TV-shows where "death" is a big thing, such as Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, Daredevil etc.
There's already a ton of spoiler problems with viewing IMDb pages for TV-shows, but when you can't even view actors pages without being scared of spoilers something's wrong.
My suggestion is simply removing the date, like the site used to be a month or so ago.
