For The French Dispatch, both the opening and closing title cards show the longer title of "The French Dispatch of the Liberty, Kansas Evening Sun". Should this be the title that IMDb uses?

I would think so.
The full title is mentioned in this Cannes review, so it seems to be the original title and not something that has been added later:
