Solved

Should the canonical pilot episode (Mission Zero) be presented as season 1 episode 0 of Helluva Boss?

It's going to be complicated to explain, but the series Helluva Boss contains two pilot episodes. One is considered the original pilot, before the series was officially released, and the other is the canonical pilot called "Mission Zero", which the plot takes place before season 1.

The original pilot is listed as season 1 episode 0, while the canonical "pilot" (Mission Zero) is season 3 episode 0. Shouldn't Mission Zero actually be season 1 episode 0, since it's the canonical episode of the series? The original pilot is no longer considered canon because of some plot points that don't align with the rest of the series.

It seems that it is listed in accordance with IMDb's guidelines, which say among other things: "A pilot aired well before the rest of the series, or unaired, is considered episode 1.0; an episode aired between the first and second season, but clearly not part of either, would be episode 2.0."

I see, so that means the original pilot should remain at season 1 episode 0, since that was a pilot episode before the series really started, while the new "pilot" Mission Zero only came out after season 2, it belongs in season 3 episode 0, since this is a canonical prequel to the series. If the guidelines state it that way, then leave it as is; its just that I don't want people thinking the pilot episode is a canonical prequel instead of Mission Zero. Thanks for answering.
