Should Children's Animation Programmes be Categorized as Drama

Just as the title says, should children's animated shows have the genre tag "drama".

Hi @Beni45 -

There could be a case where it fits the description, but to be honest it doesn't sound to me like it would be the case most of the time. What title are you referring to?

Thanks!

Someone has apparently been busily adding numerous genres to animated series; here's a list of the 278 series currently listed under Animation, Drama and Family: Animation, Drama, Family TV Series

A lot of them are seriously overloaded with genres, some of them with as many as nine in addition to Animation and Family; perhaps someone ambitious might tackle this, as I don't really think Scooby-Doo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Arthur and Hey Arnold! qualify as Drama.

P.S. FWIW, one title where Drama seems reasonable is Shakespeare: The Animated Tales.

@scgary66 Thanks! I have made a cleanup request. Will let you know when it's done.

Cheers!

@Bethanny Thanks; for a start, I've submitted deletions of the Short genre for a dozen of the titles, all of which appear to be half-hour series. I left it in place for nine series with running times under 14 minutes; one more (The Greatest Adventure: Stories from the Bible) seems to be a series of 30-minute home video releases which perhaps should be converted to separate titles.
