Sharon D. Clarke
What's happened to Sharon D. Clarke's page?
https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0164995
At some point in the last 3-ish weeks, dozens of her pre-existing credits have suddenly gained the incorrect attribute "as Sharon Clarke". I added some of the credits myself just after Christmas (including the Self credits for Chatsworth House and CBeebies Bedtime Stories) and that attributer certainly wasn't there when I added it. Nor was the page titled "Sharon Clarke" when I submitted them, so it shouldn't have happened as a result of any kind of merge or name correction either.
God only knows how many more of these attributes are incorrect - presumably there must be a couple of correct ones, but how can we tell which ones to keep and which ones to delete?

I agree; last year she was listed as Sharon D. Clarke with some credits marked "as Sharon D Clarke" and only one marked "as Sharon Clarke". Now that the primary name has been changed to Sharon D Clarke, I would expect most of the credits to be marked "as Sharon D. Clarke".
I watched "Showtrial", where she was credited as Sharon D. Clarke in the opening credits and Sharon D Clarke in the end credits, so "as Sharon Clarke" is wrong.

Maybe someone first changed the name to "Sharon Clarke", then someone else or same user immediately changed it to "Sharon D Clarke".
That might explain this mess.. actually no, that does not explain either. Pretty weird.

Perhaps the Wayback Machine can give some history?

Hi All -
I can confirm that the name on the page was recently changed from "Sharon D. Clarke" to "Sharon D Clarke", however, I'm not certain why the credits were changed to include the name attribute "as Sharon Clarke". I have filed a ticket to investigate why this occurred and review options to replace with the appropriate name attribute.
Cheers!
