Shamara (1994) - incorrect language listed but multiple attempts to correct it keep geting refused under the notorious "Unable to verify"
Shamara (1994) - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0111150/ - has an incorrect original language listed (it says Ukrainian, but it should say Russian) but multiple attempts to correct it keep geting refused under the notorious "Unable to verify".
Original audio in this 1994 film (i.e., Shamara) is in Russian;
- See description on Ukraine State Film Agency's website (where it says "Language: Russian"): https://usfa.gov.ua/movie-catalog/shamara-i10504
- See DzygaMDB's website (where it says "Language: Russian"):: https://dzygamdb.com/uk/films/1370
- See film trailer that's completely in Russian: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H74shg3-EnY
I have submitted by now 5+ attempts to correct it, but all get bounced back with the notirious "Unable to verify". I tried emailing support, but I guess imdb now turned off email support, since I just got an autoreply to keep submitting the correction via http://contribute.imdb.com/ ad finitum.
My submissions (all rejucted under "Unable to verify"):
#210810-223307-354000 (Aug 10, 2021)
#210809-185038-755000 (Aug 9, 2021)
#210806-153617-357000 (Aug 6, 2021)
#210803-175744-882000 (Aug 3, 2021)
#210730-040220-563000 (July 30, 2021)
Obviously "submitted it on my behalf" like the email support used to do won't solve the problem of poor data checkers. So if someone from imdb employees could just correct it themselves, that would be splendid.

Hi rick_sanchez_jr -
Apologies for the delay in replying! The incorrect "Ukranian" language has now been removed from this title.
Cheers!

Hi rick_sanchez_jr -
Under this data section, we will list all languages spoken within the film. I can see you are trying to remove the existing Ukrainian language, replacing it with the Russian language.
To clarify, there are no Ukrainian words/sentenced spoken throughout the entirety of the film, is that correct? If there are some words spoken in Ukrainian, instead of replacing the language you should add "Russian" as an additional language.

Hi Michelle
Great to hear from you - I remember you from the "getsatisfaction" days of the IMDb Community (sorry have not been checkingt the community website for over a year and only discovered that the Community recently switched from getsatisfaction to sprinklr yesterday).
RE your question -> The original audio-track for Shamara (1994) is 100% all in Russian, there is no Ukrainian dialogue (words/sentences spoken) anywhere in the movie. So Ukrainian should not be listed in the list of original audio-track langguages and there should be only Russian there.
Thanks!

Hi Michelle,
It's been a week and I still have not heard back - are you working on fixing this and changing the language to Russian?
Thanks!
