Solved

Several Recent Issues in Need of Resolving

  1. Please remove the false "Adult" tag from this splatter movie.  This is not even remotely a pornographic film.  It's a typical gore exploitation movie that was made for the sole purpose of being shocking and disturbing. Someone keeps adding inaccurate "Adult" tags to non-pornographic splatter/exploitation films like this, and whoever it is really needs to have their right to do so taken away.

2. Please approve #260507-073614-783000.  Two of the actor credits were declined for being "badly formatted", but, in the actual credits of the film, those two roles are, in fact, listed as "Voice 1" and "Voice 2": https://archive.org/details/frankenstein_goes_surfing

3. Please approve #260504-172450-817000.  These are accurate translations of the German title that were only rejected for containing profanity.

4. Please approve #260516-215152-742000.  This is a drama film that should be listed as a drama film.

5. Please approve #260413-014719-171000.  I have previously tried bringing this up to staff and even made a thread about it with undeniable proof of its accuracy, yet my bringing it up on here continues to be outright ignored.  It is very clear that IMDb simply doesn't want to accept these alternate titles because they contain racial slurs.  Yet, as I have proven, these alternate titles are, in fact, accurate translations.

Hi Madotsuki_the_Dreamer2-

Thank you for posting the references! Further reviewing, for submissions 1-4 these have all been corrected and the changes will be live shortly. As per the last one #5, as mentioned on the previous thread, the evidence provided is not enough/valid evidence. You can provide evidence from reputable/credible sources and re-submit for staff to take another look.

Cheers!

@Maya First off, Muzan-e is still falsely listed as an "Adult" title on IMDb.  The false "Adult" tag was not removed, and the film is still caught in the "Adult" filter: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0371839/

Second, I'm not really sure what more evidence you want me to provide in order to accept the alternate titles for Svidd neger.  I have literally proven that those are correct translations, and I have also provided multiple reviews using those alternate titles.  It's very clear that you will simply not accept the alternate titles no matter what because they contain racial slurs - in which case, I have to ask: since when does IMDb censor titles for offensive language?

Here's Translate.com confirming the translation as well:

Thank you for accepting the others.

@Maya Is there any particular reason why you removed the screenshot of Translate.com showing that the translation of Svidd neger is accurate?

You ask for more evidence, I provide it, and then you remove the additional evidence?

@Madotsuki_the_Dreamer2 - The tag for the title above was re-added but it had already previously been removed. This has been fixed now.

For the title aka, as mentioned we need further evidence. To clarify, we want to see official promotional material showing the title was released with these Title AKAs.

Otherwise, if it is an unofficial translation, this will need to be submitted with the respective "transliterated" or "informal" attribute per our guidelines.

We haven't removed any screenshots, there appears to be a technical issue with the upload on the post.

@Maya Thank you, and my apologies.

I have now resubmitted those translated titles under the category of "informal English title" for each one.  The submission number is #260519-214212-420000.  Please approve it.
