Serious Concern Regarding Suspected Vote Manipulation on IMDb by Enzo Zelocchi.

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter of serious concern regarding suspected vote manipulation on your platform. Specifically, I have noticed that director/actor Enzo Zelocchi has multiple movies listed on IMDb with an unusually high number of votes but an absence of any comments. Upon further investigation, I have discovered that eight of his movies, namely "67th Street, New York, NY (2011)", "Angels Apocalypse (2015)", "Unbreakable Souls (2015)", "My Little Princess (2010)", "Mantus (2014)", "Ruthless in Love (2009)", "The Way to Paradise (2011)" and "No War (2022)", have each accumulated over 30,000 votes without any comments.

This discrepancy raises significant suspicions of bot voting or vote buying, which compromises the integrity of IMDb's rating system. It is implausible for movies to garner such a large number of votes without any accompanying reviews or comments from users. This pattern strongly suggests artificial inflation of voting numbers rather than genuine audience engagement and appreciation.

I previously reported a similar issue regarding one of Mr. Zelocchi's movies, but unfortunately, no action was taken. Now, the presence of this anomaly across eight different films underscores the urgency of addressing this issue promptly and effectively.

As a dedicated user of IMDb and someone who values the integrity of the platform, I urge you to thoroughly investigate this matter and take appropriate action to rectify any instances of vote manipulation. IMDb's credibility as a trusted source of information for film enthusiasts relies on the transparency and accuracy of its ratings and reviews.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that you will address this serious violation of IMDb's policies and uphold the standards of fairness and authenticity on your platform.

Hi @Aditya_ingole,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

However we are aware of the votes on these titles, and our voting system already detects and defeats attempts to stuff the ballot and skew the rating. As demonstrated by the difference between the weighted average and the arithmetic mean on the vast majority of titles in the database. For additional information about IMDb ratings and weighted averages, please refer to our FAQ.

Cheers!
