SERIOUS BUG: The update form has reached new levels of unusability...
Hi, folks. I had given up trying to audit films with long credit titles because I was tired of having to fragment the check into eight or nine browser windows at the same time to avoid the perennial (and so far incomprehensibly unresolved) server limit problem. I had reached the absurdity of having to open 5 or 6 tabs for a single department (e.g. visual effects), making partial corrections by initials (A-D, E-K, etc.) on each tab, because the system is incapable of handling a "Correct all" for a single department in one sitting. But hey, I decided to give it a go and try a full audit of the credits of Black Widow (2021). I'm sorry, but I'm resigning... Let me give you an example: just a simple "Correct all" in the Art Department. BASELINE SCENARIO: AFTER CORRECTING AND ADDING A FEW CREDITS - SAVED AND RELOADED: I didn't even touch these entries, but the system changed the option to . Also, something weird happens around these entries, for instance, where are Alex Bowens' or Sarah Ginn's 'assistant art director' credits in the second screenshot?, or why have Dylanger Bates and Sophie Dyer Bartlett swapped their order? I didn't even touch these entries, but the system believes that I'm correcting the occupation (or the attributes). I didn't even touch these entries, but the system believes that I'm correcting the occupation to an already existing duplicate, thus triggering the warning. I really don't understand the current behaviour of the contribution system. The previous software, with all its bugs and same lack of processing power, at least did not betray you while inputting data. Long-time contributors have been calling for a long time for an improvement of the contribution system to adapt it to the current times, i.e. to titles with increasingly longer credits, which require more versatile forms and, above all, a processing system capable of handling more than 150 credits without crashing...
