Separating (or extracting) an episode from a series

How do I extract an episode from a series and designate it as a standalone production? We have a series in production, and all of the current and upcoming episodes are listed on IMDb. However, two of those episodes are being spun away from the series as standalones. They will have no association with the series. The work to input them on IMDb has been done, so it seems inefficient to delete the episodes and input them again. Any advice or information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

- Click Edit button on the episode page.

- Select "Correct" for "Episode Title / Number" under "Other Corrections" and click "Continue"

- Make the "Episode Title" and "Number" boxes empty (this is important)

- And put the new title format to the "Series" box. For example: My Standalone Title (2023)

(if it will be a TV movie, then My Standalone Title (2023) (TV) would be correct formatting)

In the end it should be something like this:

Lastly, press "Re-check" button, then "Warning understood, go ahead anyway." button and then Submit button.

@mbmb Hi there. I followed these instructions and had no issues. Everything appeared as indicated. I submitted the request, and waited, and waited. Then the submission expired, and it said I could submit it again. I did that. And still, nothing. I've submitted the same request now 4 different times. They all expired, and they all went unfulfilled. I've gotten no communications from IMDb saying there were problems or anything else. Nothing. So... do you have any other suggestions for separating episodes from series titles and making them standalone? I now have two episodes that don't belong to my show. I'm about ready to simply delete them and re-input them as single titles... but that's such a pain in the backside. Looking forward to your next reply.

@SYoung1960 They are probably declined by editors. If you can post submission numbers here, staff can check them for you.
