Separating. a season from the wrong show

I am wanting to update and correct the Celebrity Treasure Island (2019) tv show on IDMB. It is a re make of the original format Treasure Island from 1997. When the new show was made it wasn't set up as a new show on IDMB.

Before I start the process of correcting the epodes. Is it best to deleted the old episodes or can they be transferred?
