"Self" or "Guest Performer"

Tiny Tim is credited as appearing on 10 episodes of "Laugh-In".

For eight of the episodes, he is credited as "Guest Performer".

For the remaining two, he is credited as "Self".

For consistency, I expect that the credits should be the same.

Which is the correct one?

Well, my focus is the inconsistency in Tiny Tim's credits at present.

Maybe I'll save the rest for a rainy day, assuming they need to be changed, that is.

David is correct. They’re both ”Self”, but the latter could be added as ”Self - Guest Performer”. If you add the latter without ”Self”, it means that person is playing a character called ”Guest Performer”.
