ScoredByMerc profile and Merc are BOTH ME!
I set up an IMDB profile.
I used the name Merc aka ScoredbyMerc.
While entering all the info for our film Lyrical Protege, I listed myself for my credits.
WHY does the IMDB system see "ScoredByMerc" and my profile scoredbymerc
as TWO DIFFERENT people ??
How can I merge the profile I'm USING with the profile I've credited as myself ?

merc: I wonder if you may be dealing with the difference between an IMDb name page and an IMDb user page.
For comparison, Marilyn Monroe has a name page (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000054/), but not a user page, because she died before there was an Internet, while I (gromit82) have a user page (http://www.imdb.com/user/ur1879600/) but no name page because I don't have any film or television credits.
Since you work in films and also use the IMDb, you should have both kinds of pages. But these are two different kinds of pages, and there is no way to merge them, nor would there be any reason to do so.
However, if you do have two different name pages (that is, with URLs beginning with http://www.imdb.com/name/nm... ), then they should be merged with each other. The contributors or staff here can advise you about how to do that, if you provide us the links to both pages.
