Round 1- told submission needs evidence. Round 2- told submission does not meet guidelines.
A general frustration that I have with Imdb is that it's submission guidelines are much vaguer and unspecific than those of Wikipedia. Wikipedia accepts about 99% of my stuff, and in the case of the rare rejection gives clear, detailed, and highly specific reasons for the rejection. Imdb accepts about 90% of my stuff, but when it is rejected, the reasons are vague and general. I now have a special problem,
On March 1st, I submitted a piece of trivia and was told they could not confirm it, and I was encouraged to resubmit it with supporting evidence. I did so two days later and then was told it did not meet their submission guidelines(!!) It only took three to five minutes of my time to assemble the evidence, but why encourage me to take the trouble to do so, only then to be told it fails to meet (vague and unspecific) guidelines.
The rejected trivia concerned Ana de Armas' appearance in the preview trailers of "Yesterday" although she was cut from the final film.
Can the staff of Imdb give more specific explanations of the guidelines, and enforce them more consistently?

Hello JonLynnHarvey,
Can you help me posting the 18-digits submission reference numbers? in order to take a look at the rejections for you!
You can find the numbers on your Contribution History page.
