Robert Palmer Biography

You bio of Robert Palmer the musician contains several errors and omissions: " He was an actor and composer, known for Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (1978), Lost in Space (1998) and True Romance (1993). Robert Palmer was not an actor - he was a musician, singer and songwriter who gained prominence in the 70's. Robert's first wife was Shelly Putnam an English model - they had three children Anthony, Anna and Martin. They married in 1972 and divorced in 1978.

He was also in the band Vinegar Joe along with Elkie Brooks. His name is sometimes confused with Robert Palmer a critic for Rolling Stone Magazine. It is rumored that after Lowell George of Little Feat died that the band asked Robert to take Lowell's place but he refused the offer because he wanted to be a solo artist.
