Richard Ramirez
Why is Richard Ramirez, the serial killer, in IMDB? I understand the technicality that he appeared in documentaries, but IMDB is about celebrating the entertainment industry; recognizing the positive contribution to our culture, entertainment, and humanity. Serial killers should not be glamorized in any way. If anything, their names should be stricken from the history books, such that no one may remember the damage they did and the pain they caused. Also, Ramirez appeared in the "Born Today" section of the IMDB home page, as though we should be happy to remember his birth today. I find that in very bad taste, and I think it degrades the artists also on this page. Ramirez and other human-killers should have their rights to appear on this page stricken.

Every mass-murderer and serial killer who has appeared before a news camera has an IMDb page.
An IMDb page is documentation, not an honor.

@justinlazenby Thank you for bringing this to our attention. The inclusion in the “Born Today” section is automatic unless otherwise excluded, and we are in the process of removing the name from the widget now.
However, per the point above from @jay_spirit (thanks) the /name/ page listing itself will remain for historical reference purposes.

It's certainly inappropriate to include a serial killer in the poll that asks "Which of these celebrities who were born on Leap Day is your favorite?"
