I suggested deletion of a review that was 50% dedicated to discussing a different review - which was not even identified to enable cross-referencing - but my suggestion was declined (#230520-225333-975104)

IMDb submission guidelines say “Resist the temptation to review on other reviews or features visible on the page”, which suggests this review should never have been allowed. Further, “Your reviews should focus on the title's content and context” - by focusing on another review, this one does not follow this guideline - and “Reviews should be stand-alone works”, something not possible when they refer to another review by a different writer.
