Reviews of Real Events - #230415-220829-20620
I recently suggested deletion of a review - #230415-220829-20620 - which was rejected as “We have been unable to verify your contribution”. Given that all the evidence to support my objection was contained in the review itself, I am confused by this response.
A full two-thirds of the review is about the TV channel that broadcast the film, which is of no relevance whatsoever, and about the real events on which the film is based. The reviewer seems keen to demonstrate their reading and viewing of a documentary about the kidnapping, but the review is supposed to be about the film and nothing else.
IMDb submission guidelines are clear on this: “Reviews that are not specific to the title will not be posted on our site”, and “Your reviews should focus on the title's content”. This second point is critical - whether a kidnapper built a box due to having no basement is not the content of the film but a comment on real-world circumstances.
Unlike the writer, I have restricted my comment to the review’s content, and its context - IMDb guidelines. How you were able to verify the review, without also knowing the exact detail of the original abduction, but were unable to verify my comments on it, entirely based as they are on content found on IMDb, is baffling.

Hello
Can you help me checking on the 18-digits submission number? it seems that it is missing a number and we could not find the submission sent and rejected.
