Reviews of Life - #230415-213824-097304

I recently proposed deletion of a review - #230415-213824-097304 - on the grounds that the first 60% are not related to the film at all, but are the writer’s reflections on life in the LGBTQ+ community.

Of the remainder, even the parts that refer to the film are about the writer enjoying it, not what it was about the film that they enjoyed.

IMDb submission guidelines seem clear on this: “Your reviews should focus on the title's content and context”, and “Reviews that are not specific to the title will not be posted on our site” both appear to disqualify this review.

If I have misinterpreted the guidelines, please explain. It is beginning to feel as if every edit I propose is automatically rejected until I provide a wealth of evidence from your guidelines to support my suggestion. I am starting to suspect it might be personal.
